With every season that comes, the team at Elite Productions International takes it upon themselves to creatively challenge themselves with a distinctive, while aesthetically pleasing design concept for their showroom. This summer was no different - with a varied display of elements and an energetic color palette making quiet the statement.  While most summer design tropes revolve around patriotic displays of "red, white, and blue" or more whimsical imagery like "pineapples" or "flamingos", Elite decided on a different approach. Pastels, according to CEO and Creative Director Lili Shadab, were the main inspiration behind the look: "Spring and Summer are a wonderful reminder of all things soft and pretty! The abundance of pink blossoms in spring and the aqua blue tones of ocean water in the summer are what inspired this season's direction. " The World is Your Oyster" and with the MPIOC June 2017 Awards & Installation Gala, the team at Elite Productions International took that mantra to heart - literally!  MPIOC, otherwise known  as Meeting Planners International, Chapter Orange County, is an industry organization consisting of adult professionals in the event field. Their mission is to provide innovative and relevant education, networking opportunities, and business and act as a prominent voice for the promotion and growth of the meetings and events industry.  Pawntra Shadab, Elite Productions International's Vice President of Events & Marketing, serves on the board as Director of Member Recognition & Community Involvement. Introducing "Greenery", Pantone, the self-professed "Color Institute", declares at the 2017 "Color of the Year". So, w hat exactly is a "Color of the Year"? Since 2000, Pantone has chosen a specific color and hue (in this case " Pantone 15-0343") as a "symbolic color selection" or rather a "snapshot of what we see taking place in our global culture that serves as an expression of a mood and an attitude". The uniform and neutral landscape that often comprises hotel interiors may not leave a notable impression on guests. When orchestrating a corporate conference with executives coming from all reaches from the globe, a profound impression is the desired effect to leave on event attendees. The team at Elite Productions International was called upon for the task of creating a welcoming, yet stimulating atmosphere in the foyer of a hotel ballroom.
