It's always difficult to get back in the swing of things after a little taste of vacation, but we'll be sure to be posting some beautiful and fabulous ideas and inspirations for the upcoming Holiday season so be sure to check back and we'll get you through until then :)

We cannot believe how this year is flying by! Thanksgiving is just around the corner and it's time to start getting ideas together for the look and feel of your family dinner. We found a picture that we used as inspiration and did our own spin based on the concept. To get this look just pick up the gold flatware , amber glassware , grey dinnerware and graphic placemats .  Or find your own inspiration picture and go from there! Remember, an inspiration picture is just that, inspiration! Feel free to add your own flare to it or stray from the specifics of your source image. In fact, don't copy it at all! It's much more fun and more unique to use it as a starting point only and to see where you end up!

We would like to think all of you lovely ladies for coming out to the Fall Soiree!  It was such a pleasure to get to know all of you.  Our special thanks to Prego Ristoranti for allowing us to use their lovely patio space for our get-together and providing the delicious hor d'oeuvres! Vivienne Westwood's fashion show at Shanghai Fashion Week had some amazing pieces! It seems rather appropriate for October and Halloween as well.  Though we know that the painted faces are a connection to Asian tradition and not our ghoulish holiday, it's a fun idea to draw on for Halloween costumes.  Grab a glamourous gown - Vivienne Westwood might be a little too special for a Halloween costume, but it's your call of course :) - paint your face and add a little bit of tool or some sparkling gloves.   Vivienne Westwood is just fabulous isn't she?! I know it's Wednesday, but here is our belated "Monday Mixer" post with another delicious fall drink for you to muddle together. Better late then never :)

Wreaths are such a fun and festive way to spruce up your front door during this time of year, they add warmth as the season starts to cool down.  We've pulled a few of our favorite DIY ideas for you to try out! Indian corn wreath: Grab a wreath base or any circular object to which you can affix the corn and add the corn! Very easy and very festive. Succulent wreath: This one may be a little bit more complicated but it's worth it when you'll have this fabulous wreath hanging on your door! To see how to make your own, check out this tutorial ! Polaroid wreath: Choose your favorite memories (preferably in the same and fall related color scheme) to attach to a foam base. Just remember to bring in at night or in the rain if you don't want the images to be warped by moisture. via Cardboard cut-out wreath:  This one is cheating a little bit on the DIY front, but you put it together so we say it counts :) You purchase the kit from Cardboard Safari and make the wreat...
