Mardi Gras is a party that is celebrated all around the world on the day before Ash Wednesday as a way to indulge before the start of Lent. Also know as Fat Tuesday, this year we celebrate it on February 17 th . Traditionally, green, purple and gold, party décor using plenty of shiny beads and flashy masks are used to set the tone for the festive get together. We have a new approach to a Mardi Gras table scape - taking it from predictable and ordinary to unexpected and extraordinary! White Ostrich feathers in tall Trumpet vases add height, and a whimsical texture to the table. We used polished and Mercury votive candles in varying heights to add interest and texture.
