This 24th Annual conference has officially begun and the first annual ride benefitting the Challenged Athletes Foundation (CAF) , marks it's start. The ride was a huge success! 65 riders joined the 40-mile bike ride down the coastline of Southern California, including four-time Ironman World Champion Chrissie Wellington  and challenged athlete Sarah Reinertsen . CAF 's goal is to provide opportunities and support to people with physical disabilities so they can pursue active lifestyles through physical fitness and competitive athletics. Riders donated almost $40,000 to the cause, with a match from their corporate sponsor. We were so happy to be a part of this incredible event. Thank you Cynthia Halverson for these amazing photos! It's Easter weekend, can you believe it?! This year is just flying by, it's crazy. Anyway, if you haven't already got your Easter groove on by decorating the house with fabulous colored eggs-here's a few ideas you might want to try out... Dip-Dye // Washi Tape // Secret Message Dip-dye your eggs in vibrant colors for simple color blocking or get fancy and create a beautiful ombre egg! Not a fan of the mess of dying eggs? No problem! Grab your favorite washi tape and go to town! Or if you have loved ones out of town, send them an egg with a little message inside-I know I'd be delighted to receive one :)

For the tented event we just did, we had so much fun creating the funky floral arrangements to go with our 'Punk Chic' look.  We used pops of bright colors (much like we did we the furniture and accessories for this event) and interesting textures to spice things up. We're head over heels for these geometric containers that we used too! They're classic but edgy at the same time so it makes them very versatile.  There are so many different ways we could use them, but we hope you enjoyed this one example!

Pastels are a classic color theme for Spring and Easter. We came across this beautiful pastel table-scape and thought we'd share it with you for some inspiration! Subtle colored glassware adds another dimension to the color theme without being over the top or kitschy.  Anywhere you can, add another layer to your look to enhance the overall feel and make it more cohesive. Using napkins and menu cards to create layers is a great alternative to using chargers if you don't have the budget fo them.  via Floating candles a re a great touch even during the day or for a morning brunch. You don't have to light them to enjoy them as part of your arrangement.

Here's a fun little DIY project for Easter that we came across-eggshell vases! Great for the upcoming Easter holiday! via craftberry bush Just poke a hole in the top of an egg, empty (to make a delicious omelet!), affix a small mirror to the bottom with wax from a candle, fill with water and place the flower of your choice inside!

We're so excited to show you some pictures from the exciting tented event we just finished.  Taking the punk staple of black and white checker board and mixing it with other black and white patterns as well as pops of vibrant color created a fun a fabulous event space! The vibrant colors helped bring warmth and life to the environment and the black and white graphic elements gave it that punk edge. Using a clear tent, we created a indoor/outdoor space that flowed seamlessly together.  We used lighting not only functionally but also incorporated it as a design element throughout the space.  We had so much fun with it and can't wait to show you more pictures from the second night!
