The  Event Solutions  magazine Spotlight Awards  nominees have been announced and our very own founder and leader, Lili Shadab, has been nominated for Event Producer of the Year! The Spotlight Awards  are an annual awards presentation dedicated to recognizing the best and the brightest event professionals in the industry. The awards are presented in a variety of categories and honor both individuals and companies for their body of work in the previous year. The Spotlight Award  process is conducted in three phases over the course of four months: submitting nominations, selection of finalists and industry-wide voting to determine the winners, who are presented their awards in person at the annual Spotlight Awards  event at the Event Solutions Idea Factory. This year the presentation will be held on March 12, 2013 at the  Mirage Resort and Casino, Las Vegas . Orange County has so many wonderful Holiday Festivities this year and we want to share them with you. Our founder, Lili Shadab, was the Chair of the Special Events Committee for the City of Laguna Niguel for two years, and was intimately involved with the coordinating of the City Parade; so we can personally recommend this incredible event.  Photo by Carl Gelbart, Fred Ortman and Sam Pawley.  Laguna Niguel Holiday Parade – December 8, 2012 This year’s parade will be held on Saturday, December 8th and the theme is “Honoring Our Heroes.” The parade will be filled with beautiful equestrian units, patriotic and inspirational military tributes, spirit-filled youth groups, classic auto clubs, talented marching bands, and some of the biggest attractions in the nation! The parade committee has announced that they have two additional Olympians in the parade this year.
