4th of July!!

With 4th of July only a few days away we thought you might like a little inspiration for your patriotic picnics and get-togethers!

Food is one our favorite parts of the 4th, and we're sure that your guests agree! Watermelon is always a great staple at any summer gathering, and you can add touches of edible red, white and blue to your festivities as well.  Even if you're not able to have street fireworks, grab a few boxes of sparklers to enjoy before you hit up the big fireworks show.



Dressing up for the 4th might draw to your mind images of kitchy vests with stars and stripes, but you can look chic and still be patriotic!

Artist Frida Kahlo will appear on the cover of  Vogue  for the first time ever. Almost 60 years after her death, the photo of Frida, taken by photographer Nickolas Muray in 1939, will appear on the cover of Vogue Mexico ’s November 2012 issue. The magazine will hit newsstands just before the November 22 nd opening of   “ Appearances Can Be Deceiving: The Dresses of Frida Kahlo” at the Frida Kahlo Museum in Mexico City .  Frida Kahlo did appear once in the pages of U.S. Vogue , in the October, 1937 edition; but this is her first time on the iconic magazine’s cover.
